NYPC Visual Basic SIG Monday May 7th, Microsoft NY, 6pm Windows 8 and Metro. We'll be poking around in Win8 and looking at what a background task is. This is quite different from a background thread and gives a real look into just what Metro is all about. A true learning experience.
