NYPC Visual Basic SIG
Calling all geeks and their friends. How about using C# and VB to operate a Netduino board, which is a single-board microcontroller that contains a few input and output ports and does cool tricks like flashing a bright red LED and responding to an actual physical button. Had enough with the software buttons and Input Type = Button for the day. How about an actual physical button - real world hardware!
Stefan Thoolen will be coming all the way from The Netherlands to demonstrate, joined by New York City's own Chris Walker, moderator of the Netdunio Forums.
As usual, we'll have pizza and a few things to give away, and not as usual, we'll be meeting on Wednesday instead of Monday because Monday is New Year's Day. Microsoft NYC HQ.
